Maulvi Hayatullah appointed as deputy minister of information

KABUL (Pajhwok): Maulvi Hayatullah Mahajir Farahi has been appointed as deputy minister for Information and Culture, replacing Zabihullah Mujahid.

Zabihullah Mujahid used to serve as deputy minister of information and culture but currently he is only the spokesman of the government.

Maulvi Hayatullah previously served as mayor of Herat province, but he was appointed as publication deputy for Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) last week based on a decree from the leader of Islamic Emirate.

The MoIC in its twitter page that Muhajir was officially introduced to his office today (Sunday).
