KABUL (Pajhwok): Property and land dispute between Tajik, Uzbek and Pashton inhabitants of Khawaja Bahauddin district in northern Takhar province has been resolved, an official said on Monday.

Assistant Acting Minister of Borders and Tribes Shaikh Mohammad Qasim Khalid told Pajhwok Afghan News a legal property issue erupted between Tajik, Uzbek and Pashton inhabitants of Muhajir Qeshlaq area three months ago.

He said a delegation headed by the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs was formed following the direction from the Prime Minister office to address the dispute.

He said inhabitant residents held dispute on agriculture and residential areas. He said a special court would be formed which will evaluate all available documents related to the dispute and would then issue its verdict.

Borders Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat said last year they settled 17 tribal disputes in the country.
