UNOCHA provides cash assistance to Syedabad families

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) has provided cash support against work for 1,350 families in the Syedabad district of Maidan Wardak province, according to a statement on Thursday.

The provincial Agriculture Department in a statement said that 1,350 families were provided cash assistance against work in Syedabad district, the scheme will continue for 90 days.

Individuals receiving the cash would clean canals in Syedabad district and each worker will get $80 for the work.
