KABUL (Pajhwok): In a bid to ensure the availability of quality medicines and reasonable prices, the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) says it is trying to go digital.
FDA tweeted that it had devised a plan for digitilising its affairs to achieve the objective of detecting counterfeit medicines.
Dr. Abdul Bari Omari, director of FDA, said the information room, customs office, laboratory, administrative department and related foreign and domestic companies would be connected online.
He promised the authority would ensure the right prices, safety and quality of medicines and prevent the entry of fake drugs into the country.
