KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly 9,000 Afghan refugees are expected to be moved into permanent homes in the United Kingdom, a media report said on Wednesday.
The Afghan refugees living in hotels in Britain after being evacuated from Afghanistan are expected to be moved into permanent houses, Daily Mail reported
“The Government is expected to commit as much as £750million to supporting the Afghans - many of whom risked their lives for Britain in the war-torn country.”
Veterans Minister Johnny Mercer is set to tell the Commons today that around 8,500 Afghan refugees staying in hotels will be offered a permanent home.
