3 of a family injured in Badakhshan roof-cave in

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Three members of a family have been injured when the roof of room in a house collapsed in the Raghistan district of northeastern Badakhshan province.

Hayatullah Mohsen, administrative chief of the district, said following incessant rains, the roof caved in in Dodara village of the district on Monday night at 11:30pm.

He said three members of the family (father, mother, and child) were injured in the overnight incident.

He added that recently heavy rainfalls had destroyed seven houses and it also inflicted huge financial losses on local residents.
