FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): At least seven people, including women and children, have been killed and heavy losses caused by in flash floods in western Ghor province.
Rain-induced floods hit Madrasa, Kakari, and Sangan areas of Pasaband district, police spokesman Abdul Wahid Hamas said, Bakhtar News Agency reported.
Seven individuals, including women and children, lost their lives to the flooding, he said, adding the floods damaged hundreds of acres of crops and washing away several residential houses.
Niamatullah Khalilzad, a resident of the affected area, told Pajhwok that four women and a child of a family were killed by flooding in Madrasa area.
On the other hand, Hamas told Pajhwok four women and a child were killed and another woman was missing.
