KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly 2,800 Afghan refugees returned from Iran yesterday (Wednesday), the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Thursday.
At least 2,779 Afghan refugees came back to the country via Islam Qala in western Herat province, the ministry tweeted.
It wrote after a survey, 318 of the returnees were introduced to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for assistance.
