PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A delegation comprising officials from Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is scheduled to visit Kabul next week.
Representatives from the subsidiaries of the Department of Industries and Commerce will represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the three-day Imam Abu Hanifa Conference, beginning from July 16.
The delegates would brief participants of the conference on the investment incentives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said a government statement.
Caretaker Minister for Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Muhammad Adnan Jalil has tasked the team with visiting Kabul to woo Afghan investors.
The minister said the delegation would try to attract investors from Afghanistan to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He added there were vast possibilities to increase the volume of trade between the two countries.
