PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistan has lost three more military personnel, including an officer in fresh attacks in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Two security personnel, including a major, were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Miranshah area of North Waziristan, the military said on Friday.
One militant was also killed and another injured during the operation, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In Khyber district, a security official was and a militant were killed in an exchange of fire in Tirah valley near the Durand Line.
On Thursday, nine Pakistani soldiers had been killed and five others injured in a suicide bombing in the Janikhel area of Bannu district.
A motorcycle suicide bomber blew himself up near a military convoy in the area, which was cordoned off by security forces.
