330 more Afghans evacuated to Canada

KABUL (Pajhwok): About 330 more Afghan refugees have been flown to Canada and their number would reach 40,0000 by the end of 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) said.

These Afghans would be settled in Calgary, IRCC wrote in tis X page, formerly known as Twitter.

Canadian officials said among these immigrants, there are some Afghan nationals who worked with Canadian forces or other institutions related to that country.

Canada has expressed its commitment to the resettlement of at least 40,000 Afghans until the end of 2023, who will have job opportunities in that country as well.
