KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Embassy in Islamabad has officially launched issuing passports to Afghan refugees.
The Afghan mission on Tuesday during a meeting announced it would provide passports to Afghans living in Pakistan.
Acting ambassador to Pakistan Sardar Ahmad Shakib addressed a meeting attended by diplomats and other officials. He said the issuance of passports was vital for Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
“After this, passport applicants will be able to get a passport token online and visit the embassy at the appointed time,” said Ahmad Shakib.
The embassy said online token system link will soon be shared with applicants through the embassy’s social media platforms X, Facebook and website.
