‘Chines companies interested to invest in dried fruits processing sector’

KABUL (Pajhwok): Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Zhao Sheng pledged Chinese companies’ investment in the dried fruits processing sector of Afghanistan, according to a statement on Tuesday.

The top Chinese diplomat expressed the view during a meeting with Nooruddin Aziz, acting minister of Commerce and Industries, a statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MoCI) said.

Expressing his graduate Zhao Sheng said: “Chinese companies will invest in the dried fruits processing sector in Afghanistan.”

The ministry said that both sides have expressed views in the areas of trade and transit and transportation exchanges.
