Clash on land leaves 5 people injured in Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Five people from two families have been injured as a result of firefighting on a piece of land in the Pachir Agam district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Monday.

Police Spokesperson Abdul Basir Zabuli told Pajhwok Afghan News the fighting took place between Kamran and Monawar, the residents of Landakhel locality.

He Pachir Agam district police chief had reached the site of the fighting and efforts were underway to resolve the dispute.

The injured had been shifted to the Nangarhar Zonal hospital for better treatment. Their health condition was stable.

It is pertinent to mention, that earlier four daughters of the Hesarak District’s education department deputy head were killed in a hand grenade attack on his house.
