Regional cooperation conference begins in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) is set to host a conference of special representatives and ambassadors of neighbouring countries today (Monday).

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for MoFA, said the conference titled “Afghanistan’s Regional Cooperation Initiative” would discuss ways of boosting regional collaboration.

According to him, ambassadors and special representatives of neighbouring and regional countries will attend the meeting.

The MoFA spokesman added various issues, including, economic connectivity and cooperation, would be discussed.
