Portugal gives Afghanistan 200,000 euros in aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says Portugal has contributed 200,000 euros to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF).

OCHA wrote on its X handle: “Thank you, #Portugal for your contribution of EUR 200,000 ($ 215,750) to the #AfghanistanHumanitarianFund.”

This was Portugal first contribution to the AHF.

Earlier, Germany had contributed 5 million euros to the AHF.
