KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai says security has been maintained across the country and no one will be allowed to undermine the system.
Stanikzai underlined that the doors of education should be opened for everyone so that the country can progress and asked Pakistan to stop violence against Afghan refugees.
Speaking on the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of the former Soviet Union’s forces from Afghanistan, the deputy foreign minister said there was no ethnic and racial discrimination in the country and all the people are known as Afghans and Muslims.
He asked the Afghans not to support those individuals or groups that value their own personal desires instead of national interests.
Stanikzai said that no one would be allowed from inside and outside the country to harm the system.
On the other hand, he called on the political figures and opponents to return to the country using the general amnesty and joint their people.
Stanikzai called on the Pakistani authorities to treat Afghan refugees according to international principles and stop using violence against them.
“The Durand is an imposed line and the people on both sides are a single nation, and it is not acceptable that people on both sides of this line cannot travel without a passport and visa,” he remarked.
According to him: “We have never accepted the Durand line. Afghans are now capable enough to defend their land bravely.”
He once again stressed the need for the reopening of the doors of education for everyone and said that the development of the country was impossible without education.
