PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): An Afghan citizen has been arrested with a fake Pakistani passport at the Karachi airport, a media report said on Wednesday.
Identified as Ghulam Hazrat, the Afghan national was detained after arriving from Saudi Arabia, The News International reported.
The passport he presented to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was found to be bogus, the newspaper said.
According to the daily, the detainee had fraudulently obtained the passport, on which he had travelled from Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia.
Following his arrest with the fake passport, Ghulam Hazrat was handed over to FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle.
