5 publicly flogged for fraud in Khost: SC

KABUL (Pajhwok): Five individuals convicted on fraud charges by the primary court have been publicly flogged in southeastern Khost province, says the Supreme Court.

In a post on its X account, the apex court wrote that each of the convicts was lashed 39 times publicly.

It added the decision against the convicts was executed with the approval of the Khost urban court and the the Supreme Court.
