KABUL (Pajhwok): About 11,261 Afghan refugees returned voluntarily or have been deported from Pakistan and Iran during the past one week, the Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation (MoRR) says.
Pajhwok Afghan News took these figures from MoRR’s X page.
It said 2,000 people or 242 families returned to the country via Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings after being evicted by Pakistan.
During this period, 9,261 people returned from Iran through Islam Qala port in western Herat province and Nimroz.
