IEA supreme leader meets top security officials

KABUL (Pajhwok):  Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) supreme leader Maulvi Haibatullah Akhunzada has met security chiefs in southern Kandahar province.

IEA chief spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid wrote on his X handle that Akhunzada met Acting Defence Minister  Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, Acting Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani and intelligence chief Abdul Haq Wasiq in Kandahar province.

It said the security bosses briefed Akhundzada on progress made by their ministries.

Mujahid added the supreme leader praised their efforts and issued some instructons about various matters.

Problems concerning security also came up for discussion. The IEA leader gave some instructions for solution to the problems.
