BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Mullah Mohammad Younis Akhund has announced dozens of development projects worth more than 141 million afghanis to be implemented in central Bamyan province.
Bamyan governor’s spokesman Abdul Saboor Faizan told Pajhwok Afghan News governor Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadi travelled to capital Kabul on Tuesday and met Mullah Younis and shared with him problems being faced by Bamyan residents.
He urged the minister to implement development and complete half-finished schemes and pay attention to urban services in the province.
For his part, Akhund said dozens of development schemes worth more than 141m afs would be executed in the province.
He said the projects would include execution of incomplete projects, construction of canals, clean drinking water supply networks and reconstruction of villages’ roads.
On the other hand, Mullah Ziaullah Khadim, Bamyan rural rehabilitation and development department director, also said about eight half-finished projects will be executed in Bamyan.
He said some problems of the residents would be resolved with the execution of these projects.
