KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan will be participating in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) championship scheduled to be held later this month, an official announced on Wednesday.
Mohammad Arif Paiman, spokesman for the Afghanistan Volleyball Federation (AVF), told Pajhwok Afghan News the national squad will partake in the CAVA in Uzbekistan.
Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Maldives and hosts Uzbekistan will also compete in mega event, he said.
He added the Afghan squad had been preparing in Kabul for one month in the lead upt to the competitions.
The Central Asian Volleyball Championship is scheduled to take place from October 18 to 25.
