MMA fighter Basharat defeats Brazilian rival at UFC

KABUL (Pajhwok): Unbeaten Afghan MMA fighter Fareed Basharat has triumphed over his Brazilian opponent in a UFC fight.

Last night, the Afghan-born British MMA fighter faced Victor Hugo in the UFC competition. Basharat's brother, Jawed Basharat, congratulated him on Facebook, saying, “Congratulations to Fareed Basharat.”

The fight took place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Basharat, who has participated in 13 fights and won all of them, faced a rival with a record of 25 wins and 4 losses.
