Nabi willing to retire after Champions Trophy

KABUL (Pajhwok): Star All-rounder Mohammad Nabi has decided to retire from One Day International (ODI) cricket after the Champions Trophy, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said on Thursday.

In a video clip, published by the ACB, Mohammad Nabi: “In Shah Allah after Champions Trophy I will call it a day.”

ACB hailed Mohammad Nabi’s performance in the match against Bangladesh and wished that he would play more matches for Afghanistan.

The Champions Trophy tournament is scheduled in Pakistan next year in February.

Nabi has appeared in 165 ODIs for Afghanistan and scored 3,500 runs included two centuries and 15 fifties.
