KABUL (Pajhwok): Hamas says it will free another group of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners on January 25.
The group said: "Hamas reiterates that the second round of the prisoner swap under the agreement with Israel will take place as scheduled -- on Saturday, January 25."
In a statement on its Telegram channel, Hamas announced the planned release of captives, but did not give a specific number.
On Jan. 15, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani announced the ceasefire and hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas.
In the first phase of the deal, Hamas will free 33 hostages in exchange for Israel releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
Late on Sunday, three Israeli women were set free by the group. Israel says scores of hostages are still held in Gaza.
