KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) cabinet has extended the customs duty reduction on right-hand-drive vehicles until the end of the solar year 1405.
The cabinet also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office to take measures to ensure transparency and maintain appropriate quantity and quality standards in imported goods.
Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund presided over the 16th cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the Administrative Affairs Office said in a statement.
The statement added that the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office has been tasked with holding meetings with relevant institutions and investors regarding the import of certain goods to guarantee transparency as well as proper quantity and quality standards.
