Land plots distributed to over 9,000 returning families last week

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) says that during the past week, land plots have been distributed to more than 9,000 returning families across 11 provinces of the country.

Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman for the IEA, wrote on his X account that 9,352 families of returning migrants received land plots during the past week.

He said that in Nangarhar province, 3,270 families received plots; in Laghman 1,260; Zabul 960; Farah 527; Bamyan 66; Sar-e-Pul 495; Samangan 550; Balkh 934; Jawzjan 600; Kunduz 300; and Ghazni 400 families were allocated land.

According to Fitrat, a total of 18,904 returning families have so far received land plots, and the process is continuing rapidly.
