JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Four people have been killed and three others injured in a dispute between two families over land ownership in Chaparhar district of eastern Nangarhar province, police said on Saturday.
In a statement, the Nangarhar police headquarters said the incident occurred this morning in Zagho village of Chaparhar district.
It confirmed that four people were killed and three others injured in the incident.
Police said security personnel arrived at the scene shortly after the incident, took the injured to hospital and arrested two people in connection with the case.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and the detained individuals will be handed over to judicial authorities after preliminary investigations, the statement added.
