Different sources last week condemned forcible deportation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan.

Last week, the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) expressed concern over human rights situation in Afghanistan which was rejected by Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), some sources stressed over diplomatic relationship with the IEA, and the EU announced $24 million aid for Afghanistan.

Last week Afghanistan offered to become part of the Chinese Belt and Road project while Japan stressed over interaction between Afghanistan and the world and pledged its full support in this regard.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) has asked Pakistani government to end police abuses and deportation threats to Afghan refugees as the settlements of Afghan refugees were demolished in Islamabad.

Pakistan’s decision to evict one million undocumented Afghan refugees drew widespread criticism last week, when the Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced 400 million dollar grant for Afghanistan.

Last week, the United Nations warned human rights in Afghanistan are in a state of collapse, but the caretaker government spurned the claim as baseless. Also, the US special envoy hailed Kabul’s efforts against Daesh activities.

Last week, various sources stressed the need for interaction between Kabul and the international community and reopening of girls’ schools, while Japan and the UN pledged $45 million in aid to Afghanistan.

Qatar Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani last week said disengagement with the Afghan caretaker government could lead to a ‘bigger chaos.’

Last week, the caretaker government desired positive relations with with the world, saying it did not want Afghanistan to become the scene of global rivalries.

Former ambassadors of Canada and Australia in Afghanistan have called on their countries to reopen embassies in Kabul and interact with the war-torn country.
