2 civilians killed, 1 injured as rockets hit Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): A woman and a child were killed and another woman was wounded when two rockets landed in Niazbig area of the capital Kabul on Wednesday, an official said.

Basir Mujahid, spokesman for the 101 Police Asmayee Zone, told Pajhwok Afghan News the rockets were fired from an unknown location today around 12pm.

He said one of the rockets hit a house in which a woman and a child were killed and a second woman was wounded.

A second rocket landed in a street but caused no casualties, Mujahid added.

No any militant groups so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
