Unidentified armed men gun down doctor in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified armed men have gunned down a doctor in Hassankhel area of Bagramai district in central of Kabul province, an official said on Thursday.

Hashmat Stanikzai spokesman for 101 Asmayee Police Zone, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the doctor named Mutiullah was killed while working his private health clinic late on Wednesday.

According to Stanikzai, it was unclear how many attackers were involved in the incident and what was the motive behind it, but said an investigation was ongoing about the case.

No one claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
