Adela Raz new Afghan ambassador to UN

KABUL’s permanent representative to the United Nations.

A well-placed source on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Adela Raz would replace the current permanent representative Mahmood Saikal.

Adela Raz will be the first Afghan woman ambassador to UN.

She had previously served as the Chief of Staff at the Administrative Office of the former president and the economic secretary of MoFA before serving as Afghanistan envoy to UN.
