KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy prime minister for administrative affairs Mulavi Abdul Salam Hanafi has asked foreign countries to invest in Afghanistan’s mega projects in order .
Uzbekistan has shown interest in expanding transit trade with Afghanistan through increased railway transportation and decreasing applied tariff by 50 percent, according to a statement on Monday.
Afghanistan and Pakistan have signed trade agreements and decided the transportation of trade goods by air in the form of “multi-model air transit” which will be implemented within two months.
The Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation says more than 3,800 Afghan refugees have been deported or voluntarily returned to the country from Pakistan and Iran in the past seven days.
Hajj and Religious Affairs Minister Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib has said that 30,000 persons from Afghanistan will travel to Saudi Arabia this year to perform Hajj.
