Seven athletes from Afghanistan’s national boxing team departed for Iran on Monday to participate in an international tournament, according to the National Olympic Committee.

National boxing players returned to the country after gaining third spot in the Asian Games, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) said on Wednesday.

Two Afghan boxers have marched into the semi-finals of the ongoing Asian Youth Boxing Championship (AYBC) in Russia, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (NOSC) announced on Wednesday.
