The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the completion of rescue operations in provinces affected by the recent earthquake in northern Afghanistan, stating that 27 people have been confirmed dead and 956 others injured.
The death toll from the devastating earthquake in eastern Afghanistan has risen to 1,124, with 3,251 people injured and more than 8,000 houses destroyed, the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) said on Tuesday.
