EU Contribution

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says European Union has contributed 3 million euros (US$ 3.2 million) in aid to Afghanistan.

The European Union is allocating 25 million euros to the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to improve and upgrade the learning environments for an estimated 200,000 girls and boys in primary public schools across Afghanistan.
