Two longstanding family feuds in central Panjsher province—one lasting 15 years and the other seven—have been peacefully resolved through the efforts of local authorities and tribal elders.

The Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs (MoBTA) says 1,271 disputes have been resolved with the help of religious scholars and elders across the country since the return of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in 2021.
