More than 200 inmates have graduated from courses in Quran memorisation, religious studies, literacy and vocational training from the centre prison of western Herat province, officials announced on Wednesday.
As many as 160 prisoners, including women and children, have been released from the central prison in western Herat province in compliance with a decree from the Islamic Emirate’s leadership, local officials said on Wednesday.
