The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs (MoHRA) announced on Saturday that 30,000 Afghans will travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year, with the cost per pilgrim reduced by nearly 16,000 afghanis compared to last year.
The process of refunding excess fees to pilgrims who performed this year’s hajj pilgrimage will begin tomorrow (Wednesday), an official said on Tuesday.
Contracts with 132 Hajj and Umrah companies have been signed while necessary facilities to send more than 44,000 Umrah applicants to Saudi Arabia have been provided, an official said on Tuesday.
