The Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) has underlined the value and importance of the media, reaffirming the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s (IEA) support for media institutions.

The Minister of Information and Culture (MoIC) says the ministry is committed to strengthening the media sector and addressing its existing challenges.

The orthography of the country’s local languages will be standardized following discussions at the High Council of Languages meeting, the Ministry of Information and Culture said on Thursday.
