KABUL (Pajhwok): UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan Richard Bennett has welcomed the release of Neda Parwani and Zholia Parsi and demanded the release of remaining rights activists and journalists.

The UN Human Rights Council has extended special rapporteur Richard Bennett’s mandate on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan.

Following reports about human rights violations, UN Special Rapporteur Richard Bennett visited central Panjsher province.
