Heavy snowfall has closed all connecting roads in central Daikundi province and several main routes in neighbouring Bamyan province, officials said on Tuesday.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor has underlined the importance of opening seven crossings with Afghanistan to boost regional trade and connectivity, especially through the Central Asia Corridor.
