The head of the National Olympic, Physical Education and Sports Committee, in a meeting with the Turkmenistan Ambassador in Kabul, has emphasized strengthening sports cooperation between the two countries and called for proving opportunities for participation of Afghan and Turkmen athletes in joints competitions.

National Olympic Committee Director Maulvi Ahmadullah Wasiq says Afghan athletes had won 100 medals in various international competitions this year so far.
