The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of southern Ghazni province says two drinking water supply networks have been completed at a cost of more than 20 million afghanis and put into use in Nawa and Gilan districts.

Construction work on 28 water supply networks has begun in seven districts of western Ghor province with financial support from the World Bank, and upon completion, more than 7,000 families will gain access to safe drinking water.

Six water supply networks costing 24 million afghanis have been constructed and put into service in northern Balkh province.

Two clean drinking water supply networks are being constructed in Tagab district of central Kapisa province at a cost of 14 million afghanis.
