KHOST CITY (PAN): A member of Afghan National Police (ANP) shot dead his commander in the capital of southeastern Khost province, an official said on Sunday.
As a result of the shooting at a juvenile correction centre in Khost City, the police commander was killed on the spot, a judicial official, Qanun Gul, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The killer had been arrested and had confessed his crime, the official said. The detainee alleged the commander had fired at him some days ago. The murderer was drunk at the time of the attack, Gul said.
