JALALABAD (PAN): Police seized weapons and alcoholic beverages in the eastern province of Nangarhar, an official said on Sunday.
The alcoholic beverages were recovered from a truck in Mohmand Dara district, police spokesman, Col. Shafiqullah, told Pajhwok Afghan News. The drinks were hidden beneath commercial goods.
Elsewhere, police recovered 38 hunting guns during a search at the Samarkhel checkpoint in Behsud district. Two suspects were arrested.
