JALALABAD (PAN Bank, the central bank, was launched on Wednesday in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province.
Da Afghanistan Bank Vice President Mohammad Esa Turab laid the foundation stone of the building, a 35 million afghanis project. The building, spreading over one acre of land in front of the municipality’s guesthouse, will take 18 months to complete.
The six-storey building would have 36 offices, two meeting halls, a dining hall, a kindergarten, a mosque, a parking lot, a warehouse, a library and two lifts, Turab told Pajhwok Afghan New. He said the building was being constructed in line with international standards.
