ISLAMABAD(PAN): One Pakistani paramilitary soldier was killed and four others were wounded in a suicide bomb attack on their post in the Khyber tribal region on Friday, officials said.
The attack happened at around 11:30am in the Mian Ghudi area of Jamrud sub-district, political administration official Hameed Shinwari told Pajhwok Afghan News. As a result, one security man was killed and four others were injured.
A resident of the area, Sher Alam, said the powerful blast also damaged nearby houses.
A doctor at Jamrud hospital, Syed Aman, confirmed receiving a dead body and four injured paramilitary troops. Two of the injured are in a critical condition.
