KHOST CITY (PAN): Five people were injured in a car bomb explosion in southeastern Khost province, an official said on Monday.
The injured included five policemen and a civilian, a doctor at the provincial civil hospital said on condition of anonymity.
Confirming the incident, the provincial deputy police chief, Col. Yaqub, told Pajhwok Afghan News the police vehicle was attacked in the Farm Bagh area.
In contrast to the doctor’s account, he said two policemen were wounded and their vehicle destroyed.
Since their condition was not stable, the injured were transported to the NATO facility in Sara Bagh, he said.
